Software – Business Development in Asia and Beyond
Under my leadership, revenue in an international business region focused on Asia at a German software company grew from approximately €4 million to more than €30 million over 14 years. China became the company’s second-largest market by revenue worldwide, after Germany.
Automation / Electrical Engineering – Turnaround in China
I managed the electrical engineering division of a German group with 30 employees in China.
I improved coordination between sales and manufacturing and introduced reliable sales planning, supported by close communication with end customers. Order intake and manufacturing capacity utilization increased, and the business unit achieved sustained profitability.
Telecommunications – Successful Major Project in Taiwan
I took over the management of a German mid-sized company’s largest infrastructure project in Taiwan.
Difficulties in coordinating with customers and partners were putting the project’s success at risk.
Working on site, I improved collaboration, conducted the necessary negotiations, met all payment milestones for the main project, and secured follow-on projects.
